Ilia goes to Chicago
I am becoming a true traveler. This time, I was off to Chicago. You can see me surrounded by three lovely ladies. They are my mom and two of her high school friends. They go a long way back, and they showered me with attention and love. It was fun.
I think the balloons were there to celebrate my arrival, or something like that. It was also the Persian New Year, and we had Sabzi-polo Mahi. Golnaz made it. Shakila gave me a green dragon, like the one walking on Cornell campus, and Golnaz gave a cute outfit as Eydi.
Eyde hamegi mobarak!

Blog maintenance
I can tell you that maintaining this blog has been a lot harder than I had imagined, especially with the busy schedule of a baby like me. I don't mind writing about myself or including photos to back up my stories, but what takes the largest toll on my time is the proofreading. I am a baby after all and not so good in spelling. Anyway, the blog was delayed for a while and I had to back-date to keep everything in good shape. From now on, I will do my best to be more with you. Keep up with me!

Ilia and the art of blowing bubbles
It all started in our local coffee shop one Thursday afternoon. My mom introduced me to the fine art of "blowing bubbles", and I have mastered it ever since. I love to blow bubbles into any type of liquid: water, juice, milk...I have even tried blowing bubbles into a spoonful of cereal, and loved the result! (though my mom regretted having thought me to do so in the first place, but that is her problem, isn't it?)
Would you like me to teach you?
